name.jpgCall it serendipity, call it fate, but in a hastened state we took the first initials of our children in order of age and registered the business ‘kame’ pronounced (\KAH-MAY\) When we sat down to actually decide our trading name we looked up kame and saw that it was Japanese for turtle. Our farm was already called ‘terrella’, which means little earth and in Native American culture the turtle represents Mother Earth. The turtle symbol also means longevity and good health and it is at the core of our beliefs alongside PURE, HONEST and EFFECTIVE. So it seems we had a name all along, it was just waiting for us to catch up and to us the turtle was born...
